December 2: My First Attempt at Soup

This weekend, I tried my hand at making soup for the very first time. Unfortunately, I did not go very well. Though the basic chicken soup recipe appeared to be simple, it was actually rather difficult for me. Somehow, I managed to burn some of the soup onto the pot! While this definitely wasn't a huge success, I'm glad I tried it early in the project, as now I have adequate time to improve. Next time, I hope to be able to follow the directions more carefully. As for now, I find it hard to even apply this to my scale, but I know that there is lots of room for the growth of my skills.
